Wrapping the Handle and Other Knots
Wrapping the Handle and Knots
- Start With 8ft of paracord and place the short end about 10 inches through the handle hole
- If you are right handed it is nicer to have the "cord bump" facing your palm
- Take the long end of the string to the knife hilt and pinch it with your thumb, form the first wrap
- Every five wraps or so tighten the cord and massage it towards the hilt
- While you wrap spin the knife as not to twist the string. Be mindful of the edge and do not apply too much force
- After about 25 wraps feed the remaining tail into the hole from the other side
- Note* if cutting the string and trimming it short to a knot you will be unable to re-use or re-wrap with it
